it's not a pointless video, it's supposed to be funny. I laughed, especially since he is splicing the actual commercial with the "blooper" videos.

All nowadays showing like those "failed ones" are kinda testing and an opportunity to show people what do can robots do, and what cannot! I'm sure in a couple of years it won't difficult for robots to come up or down the staires. I thing there are no strange or unusual things in this video. NOTHING works immediately. It is just hard work of programmers.
