Burn River Jump 2011 - Trailer

Curtain's raised over the New Burn River Jump edition!

Preparation just began for the fifth edition of the Burn River Jump, the prestigious snowboard event organized by Burton Snowboards in collaboration with Swatch Mottolino Snowpark, APT Livigno e Ski Passion Snow-Ski Area.

All lights are set on Livigno, the small "Italian Tibet", where this unique and amazing contest will take place from the 22nd to the 25th of February 2011. The event is classified within the Swatch TTR - Ticket To Ride's global ranking, the most important snowboard tour in the world, with 5 stars for both scheduled competitions. The BURN River Jump is one of the best appointments of the season, not only in Europe but worldwide.

As main title sponsor, Burn reconfirms its enthusiasm for "Made in Italy" Freestyle, enduring a successful partnership that has set its common points on the innovation and on the unique format brought by this progressive snowboard event.

The BURN RIVER JUMP is great show which always amazes both participants and spectators. The best riders have already confirmed their presence and can't wait to bring to Livigno the highest grades of competition and freestyle.
The Burn Slopestyle, first of the two scheduled contests, will feature 100 top riders performing in the Mottolino Swatch Snowpark, internationally acknowledged as one of the best Italian parks. The winner of this stage will take home part of the $50.000 dollars prize money.

On Friday the 25th, slopestyle's finalists will get to second round, where they will face invited riders and wild cards for the long-expected jump over the Spoel River, set in the heart of Livigno, to win the title of River Jump Champion.
Make sure to be there at sunset, when the many attending snowboard stars will enlighten Livigno and take Italian snowboarding to the next stage! Top-ranked pro snowboarders, whose names are still kept secret by Giacomo Kratter, and the precious collaboration with Doors Snowpark Structures - in charge of designing, creating and placing the event's structures - will raise the level even higher!
