Actually its just a green cloth, he made it invisible by editing using the chroma key

bad you could of worked more on the effects the second you pick the cloak up the colour of the green goes "invsisble" you need more work :(.

Probably AE, or Premiere, unless he uses mac... also for a better effect, invert the matte, make it so its white and black colours so that shadows are still a bit visible etc, then on the background layer and the original footage, make it a slight displacement map, youll get a better effect(check out my cloak dance video
