Michael was born in Los Angeles California where his Father owns the popular clothing chain M. Fredric and his mother works in education. At a very young age Michael grew interested in the performing arts just like brother Adam Levine, front man for Maroon 5. Michael trained at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts (YADA) beginning his extensive theatrical background by co-starring opposite Brian Dennehy in Bertolt Brecht's Galileo at the age of 10.

At the age of 13 Michael was invited on a national tour of the theatrical production The Sound of Music. This offered him the opportunity to travel the entire country while gaining invaluable experience and theatrical range acting as an understudy of both characters Kurt and Friedrich. From the age of 14 on Michael worked extensively with Music Theatre International (MTI) appearing on guide vocal CD's and choreography videos for various productions. In 2001 Michael was privileged enough to originate the role of Marius in Les Miserables; School Edition and provided the vocals on the national instructional CD for high school students.

Michael's education continued when he enrolled for high school at the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) in New York. Michael experienced life in the big apple while he continued to hone his craft with a focus on Musical Theatre throughout his high school years. Upon graduation he booked his first feature film; Todd Graff's "Camp".

Today Michael lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing a career in what he loves most, the performing arts. He most recently appeared in "bare" at the Hudson theatre in Hollywood CA and was interviewed by E! Online.
