Who is cheering for this elitist fascist cheeerleader? "..Something we inherited from the English?" uhhh we fought a revolution against the English, becuase they imposed a royalist dictatorship over the colonies, and Madison and Jefferson's consititution (which you should read) was a government by the people which limited the power of the executive, legistlative, and judical branches, to create liberty in the people.

And study the Balfour Declaration, Wilson, Brandies & Samuel Untermeyer as well.
-
My problem w/Miller is that he gives this overfed lackey of the power elite kleptocracy softballs.
Yes Wilson's puppeteers loved what Mussolini, Stalin & Hitler had going, along woth about 10k fawning American journalists paid to cheerlead the euro-dictator's "advancements".

The Jeffersonian view is the correct view - that is if we were to have peace and prosperity, versus a govt that intrudes in our lives and pocketbooks to a many-fold degree that makes King Geo III's on the colonies look like chump change - for he was deep in debt to the bankers that financed 50 yrs of his wars - like now.
-
He's full of it. Wilson was a handpicked puppet like Carter, Clinton & W, who took all their orders from the Banking cabal that started the CFR via Rockefeller.
Search for "Merchants of Death Revisited: Armaments, Bankers and the First World War" at mises dot org for the real truth this pigf'r, our oligarchic corporatocracy govt, and their beneficiaries in media and academe have buried for them for 100 years.

And, no, 'Freedom' isn't just the ability to buy whatever Gucci bags are in style at the moment. Freedom means the freedom to choose one's own destiny through the right to own property, control that property, and thus pursue happiness through individual CHOICE and FREE WILL, not state oppression.

The bill of rights limited the power of the government to infringe on the rights of the people. This ass-hat's view of the world, and of Jefferson, Madision, Hamilton is just pure horseshit. Walter Russel Mead is an elitist, corporatist... a fascist.
