Cool video.. i hav ebeen searching for something like this, i use Virtualbox on my Seven but i have been having problems installing it on my Ubuntu, lately i have tried out Kubuntu and VirtualBox running Windows Xp and it runs so nice, even installing WoW is completely problemfree... that goes the other way around too, for some reason i dont know its easier for me to use Ubuntu on Virtualbox now after seeing this movie

Overall, a pretty nice tutorial. I might question if 256MB is enough RAM to run Mint without getting bogged down.  But for a quick look-see, it is probably OK.

A tutorial on Virtual Box option choices might also be worthwhile.

You forgot to add: Without touching your current install.

So in theory you are free to experiment as much with the OS as you want, it's virtualized (kind of emulated in a sandbox) anyway.

for example I did a [dd] if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/hda on my centOS vBox install and it was kinda fun (DO NOT RUN THIS COMMAND ON A REAL INSTALL!!!)
