A walkthrough of most of the features of my Voigtlander Bessa R2A camera. I've got a 50mm collapsible Heliar Classic lens with a B+W UV filter mounted. The camera has the speed winder base accessory and a Korean Luxecase strap that is very similar to the accessory Voigtlander strap.

I rarely, if ever use this camera now that I have a Leica M2. It is a very nice camera, regardless.

  • how do you like the heliar?

I've been contemplating on which 50mm to get.

How many times have you forgotten to uncollapse the lens..haha?

  • @ArpeggioColors The Heliar is nice because it has a special look to it. The out of focus area when you shoot it wide open almost seems like a painted background on a movie set or something. Otherwise I don't use it much. I typically shoot with my 40mm f1.4 Nokton because it's smaller, lighter, and faster. I have forgotten to extend the lens a couple of times. It's a really heavy lens for its size and I find the focusing ring a lot more of a nuisance than other lenses.

  • why don`t you say something about the camera instead of playing this stupid music :D

it would be much more interesting to hear how it compares to other cameras.....

  • @siravesta Go buy one yourself and make up your own mind. I'm not here to hold your hand, Petunia.

  • what song is playing in the background?

  • @dr1v3thru the song is 'Baby Blues' by Hepcat off of their 'Right On Time' album.
