  • After all these years, this is still one of my favourite Go-Gos recordings!

  • Where did you find this version. You can hear their attempt at being punk

  • This is their second release (actually this is the wrong 45 cover depicted...) "Lust to Love" and "Cool Jerk" were (I believe) their first release. These two singles are long out of print, but if you get the multi-disk CD set of their live recordings they have these cuts on them. Belinda Carlisle was briefly the drummer for the Germs back in the late '70s. The Go-Gos were truly a punk band in the early days, but mellowed out later on.

  • before the big record biz got hold of em and slowed em down.

  • VERY COOL!

  • Wow absolutely brilliant!!!

Amazing Pop Punk, I like'em later too but this is raw talent and energy :)

As nesgamer89 mentioned get "Return To The Valley Of The Go's-Go's" CD if you like this early more punky version of the band.

Both 2 cd's are totally amazing!

  • This brings back brilliant memories- hanging round beaches around beaches at midnight listening to this & Skidmarks On My Heart over and over

  • I really like this version, but I prefer Charlotte's haunting guitar on the later release.

  • Hearing all this PRE Beauty and the Beat stuff makes me wonder if they kept this sound, would they have been as famous? This early stuff really show's that they are a rock band instead of the bubblegum pop the record company turned them into. They always played hard and fast when on tour.

  • heard the other version that would later be on beauty and the beat, they slowed that song up a lot but still a kick ass tune, priceless.

  • On the left, it looks like Margot Olavarria, the former bass player, great song, thanks for posting.

  • How much More was much better!
