Irony of Fate (Tales of Destiny Fandub)

!!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

This is a fandub of a scene from the Tales of Destiny remake for PS2. It's the scene where Lion sacrifices himself to save the party. This was pretty much to test out my timing and dubbing skills, and is in no way perfect. We aren't professional voice actors, so don't flame us because we're fans of the Tales series, and also, are better than you. =D Constructive criticism of my timing skills, however, is appreciated! Thanks to Otaku and Delu for putting up with my dictatorial commands to do these lines (I wasn't REALLY going to kill you, Otaku...well, at least, I don't think so), you guys are seriously the best. =D

P.S. Yes, I did make Chaltier a girl, just this once!

Personally I don't like it. Lion/Leon's voice is decent, but it's too genuine. Great job on Chaltier, horrible job with Stahn/Stan. The desperate cry from Stahn is my favorite part of the scene, and it was just done terribly.

Yes, but Stahn pronounces it "Rion" in the actual game since L and R are interchangable in Japanes.e

If you were to scream your lungs off, Stahn line could've turned out decent. Leon's was realistic, and I don't mind a female Chaltier (and I'm the only one who thinks his voice was reminiscent to Alphonse Elric from FMA?).

well I don't "hate" his voice, I just don't think the mannerisms and personality is played out properly. The tone of the voice fits well.

You're the only person I've heard hate on Leon's, though. I, personally, think he did good, but to each, their own, I s'pose.

Leon is ..decent. It somewhat matches but it doesn't. Too sincere and too gentle, Marian is really the only one Leon shows him true self too, even too embarassed to show all of himself to Chaltier even though he understands Leon. Leon should have sounded embarassed, a bit rougher.

As for Stahn, no saving th at. Sounds like the VA was too embarassed to raise his voice, like he didn't want to wake mama.

Chal was near perfect, needed to be more bubbly like in the DC version.
