Owner reunited with stolen Cockatoo

Back together again, Les Proctor and his beloved bird are simply cockahoop. The pensioner feared he would never see Cocky Proctor again, after the cockatoo was snatched from his home. But now after an upsetting five days apart, the widower has been reunited with his feathered friend, thanks to the Chronicle.

That bird seems SOOO happy to be back with his dude! You can tell how attached & bonded they are. So sweet! Very glad the bird was returned safe and sound.

glad he got it back. they are very smart birds and can talk fine as well. they are like a one-man dog and will bite too. try cracking a walnut with your teeth,, i hope he took a finger off the thief. we have thousands of wild ones here but tame ones are best mates and will live well over 50.. welcome home cocky :)
