  • +1 for EE books being theoretical crap. Most of 'em are just really REALLY old material thrown into a blender, given shiny & expensive hard covers, some illustrations, and then thrown into university book stores at significantly inflated prices.

If anyone wants a pleasant shock, go to your local library, and assuming they've been around for at least a century, they likely have some nearly 100-year-old electronics books. One recurrent theme: almost none of the basics have changed!

  • this book can be found ONLINE at google books!

  • Well after years of being a slave bench tech in military and civilian roles I finally have time and space for diddling with design, glad to have seen your review of the Horowitz-Hill book and I found a copy and will have it handy soon.

  • I guess I missed it but where did you get the PCB and what does all the processing it is a chip

  • Thank You so much!, I'm studing EE and I was looking for a book like that. Than You again. And keep up the good work!
