Video with instructions on how to make my new Kusudama =)
It's really important to fold precisely to make it easier to assemble the model.
The model uses 30 sheets of paper. 15 square sheets of paper cut in half.

I hope you enjoy it =)

  • The word you're looking for is "razor" as the blade you're using looks like a razor blade that is designed to go into a hand sized box cutter. The the is made with intentions along it's length so that the tip can be broken off when it gets dull. You can find these blades at just about any hardware or crafts store. (The best bet is the hardware store)

  • @austincm18 Nice =) Thanks for sharing!

  • Very creative! Thanks for sharing!

  • @tadashimori i started 4 months ago and i know about 50 origamis i am 14 years old

  • You could also make it with red and dark green, or just red, because this kusudama reminds me of the flower called Poinsettia, or "estrela-do-natal" in Portugese, I think. In Germany, it's a very popular flower for Christmas because of its lovely rich colors.
