This woman CHOSE to come on the show and if you watch some of the clips, you will hear CHARLA herself say she didn't want tabloid trash magazines making millions chasing her and her family around trying to get photos. She wanted to come public ON HER TERMS...this is what she chose, so respect her wishes. If you dislike Oprah, that's your choice, Charla made her choice, not Oprah. Do you think people would care and want to help this family if it was swept under the rug? Are you paying her bills?

Oprah happens to be a wonderful, warm, and very caring person. Charla Nash did not have to appear on her show. No one made her do that. according to Gayle, the reason for a possible shutdown of the government is all the bickering between the two parties, "why cant everybody just stop this needless bickering? That's honestly what she thinks! I've heard her say it and she cant come to bring herself to say WHAT the holdup is, nor will she even hint at it. I suppose if you can convince me that without a doubt that Charla's memory and judgement has not been impared either by trauma or pain meds. I'd say that she is the strongest person on the planet. Life is hard enouph under the best of circumstances. She lost her face, hands, and eyes. She endured being mauled for 12 minutes. My own reaction is to never watch a chimp on TV or as a pet. One chimp gone nuts is one too many. You never know when they will snap.

Even if Charla could see, she'd still go on with her life 'cause she's a strong person and has what she lives for - her precious daughter. Her spirit touched me, when she said she had to go forward even with what happened. She really has much respect from me. I guess I'd rather die myself if I have to endure what she's being through.
