Recently released two bobcats that were brought to the wildlife hospital this summer. The first one (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150226325822184) came in extremely thin and apparently separated from its mother. The second bobcat was literally found on someone's doorstep in Orinda. It was suffering from a sever case of mange and emaciation. Both cats recovered perfectly and were released deep in the open space near where they came from. The second bobcat was a little less excited about being released and required a bit of encouragement but that didn't stop him from making a quick escape once out of his kennel.
A huge thanks to those that helped care for these bobcats and assist in their releases!
