Thanks for posting this Branndon, I know you live in the states, but this is a very hot topic in the 4x4 scene of Alberta. I'm a proud member of the AURS, and just wish we could convince Mr Morton that we arn't all a bunch of drunk in-bred rednecks :(

I hate when places get shut down. They blame it on the wheelers and quaders and whatnot...but mostly its all the teens on long weekends who burn their cars and leave all their garbage. Im not saying all teenagers do this, Im 17, I go to McLean Creek all the time, but I clean up after myself...and others. I always bring home full garbage bags that werent mine. And if I see anyone destroying Alberta's beautiful land by burning cars and leaving beer bottles...oh so help me god!

@nosman69 I totaly agree with you kid. I've been here for the last12 years,and i can asure you that the garbage piles are getting worse. I actualy walked in to some punks camp site in Nordegg and picked up 2 full bags of their garbage. I got insulted ,had stuff thrown at me and a few wanted to kick the shit out of me. Why ? I politely asked them to clean up after themselves.
