More than a dozen low-income caregivers were arrested on April 7, 2011 at the Capitol in Olympia, Washington, protesting deep cuts to services for vulnerable seniors and people with disabilities.
The caregivers engaged in non-violent civil disobedience to send a strong message to elected officials about the devastating impact on the proposed cuts on their clients' lives. Protesters were demanding that the legislature and Governor close tax breaks for wealthy corporations rather than cut services for the most vulnerable.

I am a member of SEIU775NW, and I AM NOT PROUD OF YOU CRIMINALS!
You speak of social Justice, but the local constitution prohibits forming or signing a petition to disband the local or even to seek representation by another union under penalty of loosing their union membership, which according to WA State Law means you also loose your job! How does SEIU775NW's constitution supersede the United States Constitution and the first amendment right to freely express myself?
Justice? I think not!
