A video presentation on Domestic Violence in America. If you or someone you know is in a violent situation, please call 800-799-SAFE or go to www.tcfv.org or vawnet.org
Domestic violence is a horrible reality for many PEOPLE, not just women. LEGAL methods of dealing with and preventing this have to be enacted that include ALL VICTIMS and don't demean or belittle or ignore any groups. That is why Sarah Buel has been an ineffective and largely ignored agent of change in the field. People who are in abusive situations need help - this includes MEN, Sarah Buel. It's a fact. How dare you ignore that!
Additionally, the narrator, Sarah Buel is demeaning to women. She portrays them as helpless, ignorant and perpetual victims who have no control, no choice and no realization of their rights.
Most shocking is that she condones murder. She's been quoted as saying that women who kill their abusers should not be tried for their murders. Im 100% against abuse of anyone, and murder is the ultimate form of abuse. NO. If you murder someone, you should (and will) be tried for it.
The narrator, Sarah Buel, forgets that women abuse too. There are thousands of abused men out there, but she doesn't say a word about that in her lectures, presentations or this video. She's anti-man. That is not acceptable in today's society.
