Groudon vs The Elite Four in Ruby Part 1

Many people talk about taking on the Elite Four with only one Pokemon, but it amazes me how lucky they are every time they do it. Or maybe they've only done it once, and use it as a claim to say they can.

I, however, have a very particular method, and have it down to a science, which I plan to show you here. It takes me roughly 13-15 min to go one round through the Elite Four. If you give Groudon an Amulet Coin, you will earn 64,800 pokemoney. Also, it's a great way to train pokemon. Give someone an Exp Share, and they'll be up 25,557 exp by the end.

Going through the Elite Four you will earn:
64,000 Money
25,557 Exp for the Exp Share holder

and for those of you that count your EV's:
Hit Points 11
Attack 22
Defense 13
Special Attack 1
Special Defense 10
Speed 4

The beginning of the video gives a run through of my Groudon's stats, but for those just wanting to look quickly, here is my Groudon's moveset:
Aerial Ace - TM40
Earthquake - Learned at Level 35
Solarbeam - Learned at Level 65
Eruption - Learned at Level 75

Geez. Your freakin' awesome!! I cant get past sealio on the 3rd elite member. HOW DID YOU GET GROUDON?!!! I went back in that cave and DID NOT find him .... WHERE THE HECK IS HE?!!!

@poetryzz Did you kill him as part of the storyline? If so you shouldn't have. When he's making the sun really bright (in the storyline) and you have to go in that cave to stop him, that is the only chance you get. If you KO'd him instead, you will never get another chance. You'll have to reset your game and try again. Or you could just find a friend who for some reason doesn't want their groudon anymore and will trade it to you.

Well, I normally play on an actual GBA, but for the purposes of making this video, I used an emulator and cheat codes to get the file as close to my actual file as possible. It was just easier to use the Master Ball so I could get to the video making quickly. In my actual game, I used a bunch of Ultra Balls, then switched over to Timer Balls after a while. He was eventually caught in a Timer Ball.

Not only does Hail cause SolarBeam to become a two-turn attack, but under Hail, SolarBeam only does HALF of its normal damage.

you shouldn't use masterball on groudon.. latios/latias is a lot harder to catch.

I've done all an only Rayquaza run on the sinnoh elite four. I plan to also do a Groudon only on the Unova elite four.

how the hell can groudon learn aerial ace?? he would like create a mini earthquake every time he landed after the attack

6:26 the comment you put in there...that is because groudon is purely ground not any fire but his variety allows him to destroy...i.e. Fire> Ice & Grass> Water so when you used solarbeam on water types (seleo and walrien) you raped them because of the effectiveness so you had no reason to die.
