though i like his music but i have only been able to see a mixer and hindu paraphernalia on the console.....i wonder where all the groove and beats come from??!!

What no SL-1200MK2s or simmilar? I've been to Goa parties where only DATs were used, I was not impressed. Dance music should be beatmatched IMOP. Never the less I like the idea of this party, It was probably a great time even without the beat matching. I guess stuff like this only goes on outside of the NY/NJ/PA area these days.

I'm sure he's moved past dat tapes by now. they are after all not the most convenient way to go about dj'ing: having to fastforward or rewind tapes to find the right track, no pitch possible etc.
