Professor Jon Mee, from the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies gives an alternative 'Christmas speech' that takes a look at Dickens' legacy and how it stretches far beyond A Christmas Carol.

As we approach the bicentenary of the birth of Charles Dickens, one of the greatest authors to ever put pen to paper, the University of Warwick's 'Celebrating Dickens' website http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/dickens/ examines his life and works.
