More of a complete review on the excellent Aimpoint CompM4 red dot (M68 CCO). Very durable and rugged optics made for the military.

  • Just bout this optic from a local pawn shop, mounted it to my Rock River LAR Elite Entry Operator.. this is a very deadly combination. I use it for a number of events such as 3 gun, recreational shooting, CQM, even coyote hunting.. this optic is legit and the more you use it and understand it, the possibilities are amazing! Great post btw

  • @99bigdrill05 I have always liked the simplicity of the Aimpoint red dot. Its a great optic and very reliable. Good luck with yours!

  • Nice report. I've had an Eotech for over a year now and haven't had to change my battery yet. It does have a fail safe mechanism which prevents it from staying on for longer than 8 hours at a time. Also, if you were concerned about the retention knob getting caught on your left, aren't you able to unscrew the to screws securing the mount to the red dot, and flip the mount around so the knob is on the right?

  • @asfaultrider Hi, I also thought that you could switch the mount around but the mount and aimpoint is keyed in a certain way that you cant reverse the mount.

  • I love the Aimpoint and opted for the m4s. Only issue with the mount you have is that it is difficult to manipulate the charging handle on weapons like the ACR and SCAR (with charging handle on the left). However, it works great on traditional AR platforms. I have one on a POF.

  • you can flip the LT mount around either way you want

  • all the beef aside.., u tryin to sell that carry handle mount??

  • @SpiritOffAdventure22 I"m looking to get the Micro T1 with LaRue mount. I shot one the other weekend and feels great and it also is light as a feather.

  • @bbondoq You might want to look at the micro, Its just as strong but lighter and cheaper.
