No way! You can batch edit them using some program that allows batch processing (i.e. IrfanView).
Batch processing means modifying a number of files by given parameters like resolution, brightness, effects, etc.

@agent47crows You mean, that if I render 250 frames as PNG, and want to tweak the contrast and lightning, I need to do that on 250 frames, one by one?

Well, I used Blender Internal. I rendered as PNG (for re-mastering purposes), then rendered it with the Blender Sequence Editor as AVI Jpeg (1024x576 @ 30 FPS).
That's pretty much it, actually. You can skip the whole PNG part. Like I said, I only do it if I want to post-pro and use a file as a still render.
DAMN IT'S BEEN SO LONG... and yet I remember the setup as if it were yesterday. Nice, I guess.
