I wanted to model my room for one purpose: figuring out where the North is, according to LuxRender.

I ended up doing a still in Lux and an animated in Blender.
This has FAKE written all over it.

  • DAMN IT'S BEEN SO LONG... and yet I remember the setup as if it were yesterday. Nice, I guess.

12 days to relevant "checkpoint" in life.

  • are you using radiosity?

  • Nope.

No way! You can batch edit them using some program that allows batch processing (i.e. IrfanView).

Batch processing means modifying a number of files by given parameters like resolution, brightness, effects, etc.

  • @agent47crows You mean, that if I render 250 frames as PNG, and want to tweak the contrast and lightning, I need to do that on 250 frames, one by one?

  • cool ;)

  • Aww... that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said about my renders!

  • Bingo, ben's teeth are actually oversaturated. We can call your bedroom Mirrors Edge now.

  • sweet test remder agent47

  • Thanks!

Well, I used Blender Internal. I rendered as PNG (for re-mastering purposes), then rendered it with the Blender Sequence Editor as AVI Jpeg (1024x576 @ 30 FPS).

That's pretty much it, actually. You can skip the whole PNG part. Like I said, I only do it if I want to post-pro and use a file as a still render.
