Mike Keenum shows off his highly modified Hawker Sea Fury "Riff Raff". This aircraft capable of speeds up to 450mph races in the fastest division, Reno Unlimited.
I know my friend. The original Sea Fury is my favorite aircraft indeed. Here is a video where you can listen to the brute but wonderful sound of the Sea Fury: "Sea Hawk, Sea Fury, Sea Hurricane and Seafire display". Cheers!!!
After speaking with "Hoot" Gibson at the 2008 air races Mike Keenum has taken Riff Raff off the market. He has decided to keep it. Which means we will see them at the 2009 air races in reno next year.
You sir are absolutely correct. And I stand corrected. But I do infact know Mike Keenum. I see him every year at the Reno National Championship air races. I have had beers with him in his pit area. His racing pilot his former astronaut, Robert "Hoot" Gibson. I know that his aircraft Riff Raff was for sale and he recently decided to not sell it and will be brining it back to Reno in 2009 for Hoot to race it again.
I know the owner of that air plane, and his last name is Mckeenum. Anyway. It is a beautiful aircraft. Its too bad he was flying so slow. That thing is much faster than what was shown.
What a nice sounding engine! :-D

When was the Sea Fury made. I mean was it produced after WW2? What a monster it is.

OMG how poor it sounds against the Centaurus authentic Sea Fury...
