gosh... i feel sorry for the people in indonesia :( Footage of that on the news moved me, i am terrified of tsunamis. If one came to cairns (like there were warnings once) i wud die!!!!!!

Before the 2004 tsunami, "experts" said that waves in tsunamis were 40, 50 ot 60 feet high... what a load of bollocks. 2004 tsunami proved that the wave/s per se IS/ARE small (3, 4 meters). What matters IS the quantity of water behind that wave. What we saw on 2004 that is.

Which means scientists did NOT even know what they were talking about. At least BEFORE.
