wow.beautiful. i let one of my classmates borrow my copy 20 years ago.he never gave it back to me.that book was like 400 hundred or so pages i was 12years old i never red 400 hundred pagesofanything... (willingly)(my sixth grade teacher made us read a tree grows in brooklyn against our will ..but even that took a couple weeks to getthroughbutthis.i read the whole thing the second i gotit home at the dinning room table in less than an hour

We have published 7 softcover collections like this one (which will be compiled all together, along with a bunch of bonus material, into the two-volume hardcover slipcased set Usagi Yojimbo: The Special Edition this summer). Dark Horse Comics has published an additional 15 or 16 softcover volumes (Book 23 is out either now or very soon).

One last thing, if all the usagi books are going to be put together in even more condensed form than this, then what will their availability in public intrest book stores be?

They will continue to be available in both formats: the 7 separate softcover volumes and the hardcover set. The hardcover set will not supersede the softcovers, which we plan to keep in print as long as we can. Both formats will be available in book stores and comic shops.
