Located at Jacks Point, Queenstown and built to last our blistering summers and snowy winters, this concept is constructed from timber lined polystyrene sandwich panel with zinc standing seam cladding. The undershot glazing minimises reflections and the building dynamically responds to activities and its environment with opening panels mimicking animal biomechanics. The design was inspired by an Origami Crane, our real equivalent is the New Zealand Kotuku. The Boffi Sling bed is reminiscent of a birds nest.
