Uh at 0:51 the Frigate fires at the ship and appears to hit it. Later on video shows it's sinking. So either 1) they shot it and it began to sink or 2) the crew scuttled it after being shot at.

Makes no sense. Beginning - cargo ship apparently normal. Flare fired ... Later, cargo ship scuttled? Liferaft and a man in a survival suit(?) picked up.
Makes you wonder what they were carrying.
