  • Wasn't this really a SAAB design about 20 years ago? C'mon guys SAAB is born from Jets!

  • Oh yes, jet engines in cars are very environmentally responsible. And where did Steve Anderson get those 1950's nerd glasses?

  • That has to be the ugliest front end I've ever seen on a car! I think even the original Dodge/Chrysler turbine car was prettier than that thing. Talk about gaudy.

  • looks exactly like a cadilac cian

  • I wish Jay or someone with so much visibility would "go small" Another symbol of american waste mentality, which he makes fun of in dialogs. Come on Jay, get with the program. You have a larger voice than the president for crying out loud.

  • nicce video. notice how GM 10 years ago recalled and took all the EV1's off the road.

  • "There's a model in the works that runs off of natural gas." camb06 - LNG isn't a step up... natural gas still needs to be sought, bought, drilled, cleaned, refined, pressurized, trucked or piped, etc. It still emits CO2.

But everyone has a greasy spoon or Chinese or Mexican restaurant around the corner from them, and this (bio-diesel) is something everyone can do at home.

  • interesting that you should say, " Move over, Prius," because it HAS. There's a model in the works that runs off of natural gas.

I like that this runs off of Biodiesel, that's awesome. I wonder if the turbine is hooked directly up to the transmission? PopSci had a concept of a turbine-powered car that charges a supercapacitor that runs in-wheel electric motors, for better speed control. Still, that car's HOT!
