The final "Dots coming out of Projector" preshow bumper used by General Cinema Corporation. This would be replaced by the Space Candy trailer around 1983.

Circa 1980.

  • Whatever happened to the blue sky intro trailer?

  • @RacerXGTO That came later; around 86 I believe.

  • I remember this being the one used from the early 80s onward. I remember how disappointed I was in the way they changed it. It didn't have the drums or the dots coming out of the projector. There is no beating the 70s version!

  • Man I remember when I was a kid there used to be a General Cinema in its own little building next to the local mall. This brings back memories! I remember I saw Back to the Future there, and Spies Like Us, Enemy Mine, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Project X, Little Shop of Horrors... ahh, the 80s!
