Ali Daei is a patriotic Iranian and a true Azarbaijani turk. For true Azarbaijani's (like Satar khan, Bagher khan, Babak Khorami, Shahriyar, and Rezazadeh), nationality comes before ethnicity. Rezazadeh refused to accept millions of dollars and represent Turkey. Satar khan famously said he wants 7 countries to come under Iran's flag. I can safely claim that 99.99% of Azarbaijani's are patriotic Iranians, just like Daei. People like Atrupaten are only a tiny and bitter minority.
