Tha'ts what I still don't honestly understand, like how does being in a war make you so insane to harass and even kill civilians you KNOW are innocent?

For what he did, I applaud him too, he finally realized he has killed many innocents instead of focusing on the real terrorists and he is ashamed of it. My comment was not meant the applaud here in this video, I meant what other people will think about their "Heroes" and applaud them for their god knows what deeds overseas. I know not all soldiers are bad, but there are some sick people between them who enjoy destroying families, and murdering children.

No of course not, I will never say it is ok for Muslims to kill men, women and children. If they do they are not real Muslims, they are radicals/extremists, because Islam does not condone such behavior. All I am trying to say is, these people go to Middle east, kill innocent people and are awarded for the murders and tortures they committed, yet no news channel says or remembers any of the victims? We are all human, we are all equal, I will never understand the real motives of the Media.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, but yes he describes his evil deeds as if it's nothing. He even admitted the people he killed were innocent. This is just what he did, imagine what other US soldiers did. Just because CNN doesn't broadcast the evil deeds of the US army in Middle East, people think US Army is sent from heaven to protect the weak and help the needy.

Also I don't think they're applauding his deeds, they're applauding the fact that he's turning his back on the army and showing his country that they're not perfect. He's putting his morals above his duty and that is something to be applauded.

You are absolutely right but it all depends on what side of the fence you are sitting on. SOME soldiers do terrible things (a lot also do very compassionate things) and we ignore it because they're on our side but blanket an entire race and religion on the actions of a few extremists. I can't see the East reacting any different to us. Basically what I'm getting at is I hope you are not saying that it's okay for Muslims to kill men, women and children but not a soldier.
