  • Duane Eddy , Lee Hazelwood is the BedRock of much of the music we enjoy today. Will never forget the very moment i first heard 'Rebel Rouser'....

  • @grasshopperrecords I can understand why you think that. The titles are a little similar. But the song that got George into the Beatles was "Raunchy", not "Rebel Rouser". Just a little trivia for the world to digest. haha!

  • I think we take so much for granted, but hearing oral history recorded like this makes You Tube worthwhile...

  • Unfortunately Del won't, sturdle............RIP

  • Duane Eddy is one of my guitar icons. He is also a master finger-picker. Rates right up there with Chet, Merle, et al.

  • I think he's in Nashville now. I moved from Coolidge in 1959. I remember Duane and Jimmy Delbridge playing basketball for my Dad in Coolidge.

  • that opening song is in forrest gump.

  • DE and Del Shannon both played at the Savoy in Lupset....neither of them (D won't of course) will remember but I do..... rough being old.....but great memories...
