Well... It's hard to explain.. You can't believe in something you know is false. I mean.. If you know that god doesn't exist, then you can't believe in it, can you? And your belief is your own thing, it can't be questioned.. I mean it's your own thing and those who question it might be wrong themselves, but they believe in it...Anyway.. It's complicated ))

so nothing can be wrong or sinful as long as you are doing it under complete conviction that you are right; as long as it makes you happy? so everything in the world is subjected to each one's own interpretation? if this is true, then what is Truth? If my truth is the opposite of your truth, but we both believe in our truths and they make us happy, wouldn't it stand to reason that one of us has to be believing in a truth that is wrong which means happiness is not a verification of truth?
