Dojo Javascript Game Demo

Drink Making game (AKA SimBar). Make some drinks for your customers. Earn money making drinks and spend money buying supplies and dealing with events. This game runs only in the browser. There is no server it is communicating with, so it will not save your progress if you navigate away or refresh. The game is developed with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the Dojo Toolkit.

I made this game to learn a little about the Dojo javascript library.

Get the code and game at http://www.amazingknife.com/tag/drinkmakinggame. Copy part1 and then part2 into a text editor and call it game.html. Open in a browser and play it!

Ask me questions about Dojo. It is fun! Make some Dojo videos, there are not enough.

@jeddahyoung Thanks for liking the game. Unfortunately, I have not finished it. I have a ton of stuff going on so I am too busy right now. Thinking about maybe porting it for the iOS in the future. You are welcome to take the code and work on it. I started doing it to learn Dojo and that made it really fun.

should i let it run scripts or active x controls on my computer???

@Robloxadmaster Yes. It is using JavaScript so you will need to make sure to enable running of scripts. I don't think you need ActiveX controls.

@RekezWolf There is a Javascript engine in your Internet browser (IE, Firefox, whatever you are using) Are you getting an error? Maybe in the browser settings Javascript is disabled.

Thank you for checking it out. I only tested on the latest Firefox and IE 7 and 8. I work as a software engineer which means I do anything when necessary. So web and desktop development. When I was learning Dojo, I started to make this game.
