You really believed you were posting a pro-war song when you put this together? Have you listened to the powerful lyrics? This is not about our Armed Services, no, not at at all. This song is about how stupid we are for glorifying war. Give it a hard listen, over and over. You have either deluded yourself into believing Steve Earle is some neoconservative or someone played a trick on you by suggesting this brilliant ANTI-WAR song.

I am well aware of Steve Earle's politics and I am also well aware of what Steve Earle is saying in this song, being a fan of his for over 25 years!
Because this contains war footage, do not make the mistake of thinking that I am glorifying war. Nowhere will you find that I suggest that this is pro-war. The video is intended to provide a background to the words of these very powerful lyrics, highlighting the destructive waste of war!
