Suppressed MP40 and Luger

Suppressor comparison, MP40 with large can and Luger Pistol with small can. Difference in sound level is negligible, MP40 rated FRP at 114 dB, Luger at 121 dB. Ammo used was standard Barnaul 115 gr FMJ.

hey how do you have fixed your silencer, is it a threatened barrel or dou you have something like an adapter on it? do you can send some pics of the luger to me

@crnagoraz : It's a muzzle adaptor coupling like those used for the Ruger Mk.2. I only copied and upscaled that design :) .

Unfortunately it only worked single shot. More a novelty than anything. I have since dismantled this setup, but I have all the pieces.

I'm not trynna downplay the suppressors but I don't hear much difference, at that volume you'd be better with a barrel that increases accuracy

could you possibly make a somewhat integral suppressor for the luger, so that the barrel wouldn't show, and the base of the silencer would touch the part where the gun is boxy?
