Yes. That is why he is well respected in the world of Percussionists , it is devine sound he produces musically amazingly unique, Iconic stands apart even to this day even in US.

Vikku is a great player (see him twice - once with Zakir) but this clips sound has cut all the bass out so we're missing half of his nuance/groove on the ghatom
