Al Oshlack, a legal representative of the Indigenous Justice Advocacy Network, talks about his experiences trying to protect Indigenous Cultural Heritage against housing and mining developments and how completely inadequate and colonial the heritage protection laws are. He also reviews a recent appeal in the Federal Court in which Minister for the Environment Peter Garrett refused to consider evidence that the development site had evidence of significant Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.

that is absolutely well said! ejbh3160.....finally I see some one see this all as it is....every one is running around like chicken little " the sky is falling", talking about NWO ect.... we as Indigenous people all over the world have been experiencing this centuries ago. This what our ancestors have been put through...it is not until it effects the guy down the street, that any concern is shown. *****
