I recorded this as a labour of love. Took me two days and was made entirely in Reason 4.0. I've always loved the soundtrack for this movie when I was a kid and this in particular was my favourite. There are no vocals (I'd never do them justice), but the lead sections are played on piano. The song ended up being an extra 2 minutes longer than the original song which was a little over 6 minutes in length. But I hope you enjoy it anyway.

  • Where can I find a way to find the notes for the lead sections? Did you make this yourself? If so how?

    Love it by the way!

  • @UAL8495 I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Which lead sections are you talking about, the piano/singing lead or the guitars? Yes, I made it myself.

  • @BrandonBlume The way I did it was by ear. I don't write sheet music or anything.

  • @BrandonBlume wow impressive! Any chance you could tell me what the notes are? lol

  • @UAL8495 Like I said, all by ear. I don't know what the notes are and there are an awful lot of them to figure out in this song and I don't have time, unfortunately. And as I said, I don't write sheet music either.

  • @NutriaWhisperer you are right about that, what they should have done was use the VHS cover or the Movie poster.

  • Gah, that DVD cover art is hideous.

I've always thought this was a really pretty song, lackluster movie notwithstanding, and your version certainly does it justice. Very nice work - I'm downloading the MP3. Thanks for posting this.

  • @barulez How utterly heartbreaking. I had no idea she was in her 80s, but I hope she led a very fulfilling life; and I hope she knew how much her characters meant to the millions of young adults who grew up loving them.

Rest in peace, Billie Mae. <3

  • @BrandonBlume ok thanks for your time....
