The Misery Motel..

I used up my reservations at The Misery Motel
I checked out incidentals and sought out living hell
I spent my cash and credit, I learned my lesson well
Now I keep my destination from the Misery Motel

I left my wife and kid for the Misery Motel
I gave up my possessions to ring the desk clerks bell
My heart left unattended although I could not tell
I almost slept forever at The Misery Motel

God knows how long I was lost?
Overnight? A Lifetime? The cost?
Alone in a room with the lights out I fought
Cant go cant stay inside

Sometimes I think I will head back to The Misery Motel
In fact Im only human some thoughts I cannot quell
If you see me there put a call in, please tell my old true friends
Who tell me I can't go there for life will surely end.
