This is a clip from the Australian International Air Show March 07, its a glider with jets on its wing tips....called a sail plane.

yeah i, saw it there its awsome i love it. the engine weighs only 40 pounds. and produces something like 200pounds of thust (tiny) but the craft is so light. i love it i want one

It us just smoke dispensers on the wing tips. The jet engine is situated on the fuselage abouve the wings. You can see it silloetted against the sky at certain moments
