Rare Early Audio of 'Underground' by Goya's Child (1): The song 'Underground' was a staple of Goya's Child (1) an Australian Alternative Rock band of the 1990s. All footage for this video - except two pictures of GC performing at Art Space Bendigo in 1992 - was shot in 2010 by Ian Irvine and is of neolithic passage/mound burial sites in North Wales, ceremonial kiva sites (Mesa Verde Colorado - occupied around 1200AD) or Stonehenge at the2010 Summer Solstice.

Other songs by Goya's Child (1 & 2) on You-Tube: Wailing to the Waves (GC (2), Wasteland, Goya's Child, Get Me a Lawyer, Haunted Lullaby/Whip it, Gods of Autumn, The Arabian, the Egyptian (music similar to The Arabian but performed in digital by GC2) ... see also clips from the movie Freedom Deep - they contain various Goya's Child songs performed by GC2. Go also to Reverbnation Goya's Child for more on the band and it's history.

The live recording accompanying this video took place at the Golden Vine Hotel in 1993 - though the song was originally written in 1991 (Song rights: copyright Irvine, Thorpe, Y.T. Mannix and O'Neill 1991. Mechanical/performance rights this arrangement: Thorpe, Y.T. O'Neil, Mannix, Irvine, 1993.

"Goya's Child are the most haunting and innovative 90s alt rock band you probably never got to listen to ...'
