oh yesterday I came so close to Iraan, I got off I-20 at Exit 136 and made a right on Texas 349 (Lamesa-Rankin) I went south on Texas 349 and saw a sign (Rankin 53 IRAAN 79) I was only within 80 miles of Iraan. That was close. Just over an hour from Midland on TX 349 at 70 mph in Midland County/75 mph in Upton County. I came even closer when I made a U-turn on TX 349 at the county line after Thanksgiving, on black Friday 11-28-08

hahaha! I saw this video on the Jay Leno Show a while back...I know this town. Its in West Texas on the way to El Paso. Its actually pronounced IRA---ANN. lol

that was funny,iraan tx is just a small town in west texas and like iran it's also oil rich too.i was there just a few days ago.the town was name after ira & ann yates
