Resident Evil 4 PS2 Time Attack load game 1-2 (1:48:57 PS2 WR)

This part looks easy when it goes well but,it doesn't go well often.There are less enemies to worry about on PS2 compared to GC but still,they are tough to get by.

The first axe guy in front of the house,if he notices me earlier will always slash very early so I can't avoid a hit or having to stop running.

I already noticed,axe or sickle ganados slash quick on PS2,and even when you pass them while they slash they can do a complete 180 on themselves T1000 style and still hit you.

Then when I jump down after taking the first piece,he can again hit me,or the unarmed ganado grabs me.95 % of the time I had to restart here cause of them.

This time I managed to run inside them,the axe guy missed and the "grabber" grabbed too late :P

So shortest path with best result :)

I coulda taken the second piece a bit quicker.

Then the first guy in the next area is a real piece of work.He just runs and grabs,that's all he does on PS2.

He doesn't point and make things easy no,he runs and grabs if you get anywhere near him.

So I run as far left as I can to not get in reach immediatly,then he sidesteps sometimes.

I might've lost a little bit of time cause I got stuck slightly but,it wasn't that bad.

The dynamite guys can randomly ruin things also.

Sometimes one throws immediatly and the other one when I get closer to them so I have to jump to avoid the first dynamite,then get blown up by the second.

Very odd timing they got.It went alright here,I never managed to jump and kick the door before the dynamite exploded when they do toss together so I waited a bit before jumping.

Then the sickle guy at the bottom is impossible to pass if you don't hug the right wall immediatly after opening the door.

If he spots you he takes out his sickle and just waits till you get there,then slashes early so you can't pass.

He never seems to throw at you (on PS2) .

So I hug the right wall,then he sees me late,takes his thing out late and it's an 80 % chance of passing under his arm :)


Combining the pieces,the "puzzle" and stuff,I feel I can improve on that throughout the run.


Anyway,I'm happy with this part,now it's up to the part I hate most and could never get right yet.Del Lago.

If anyone knows a glitch to skip him I will gladly use it ;)


If not,I hope to not get stuck there.Then a less good part will have to do.

Will practice and try hard though.
