Third prototype of my drawing machine:
As I turn the handle two cams are being turned; one controls the vertical movement, and the other the horizontal.
The cams move a laser beam which leaves a drawing on a light-sensitive paper, after twenty seconds the image disappears.
(I got the photo reactive paper from my friends in the Bloomfield Science Museum in Jerusalem, they do some cool stuff using this technology: http://www.pendulight.com/)
This model is much more robust, and accurate than my previous attempts.
I am now working on a new ceramic figure and then I will make a table for the machine, mabe add a music box to it, who knows...
Yoav.
