None of this matters. Who's hand soiled Jefferson, Washington, or Lincoln's hand? Diplomacy and protocol are a part of a President's job. It's the deal that is sealed with that handshake that matters. We would be better served to think about that. Instead, we think more about what the pundits tell us to think about. Face it folks, the people are sheeple. Drink the cool-aid and let Kissingers plan of population control win the day.

Rumsfeld was a private citizen at the time he shook hands with Saddam, and didn't rise to a cabinet level position until later. It is shameful the way that we armed Saddam when it was convenient to counter the rise of Islamic Iran, but then attacking for possessing the weapons we gave him. There is more blood on Don Rumsfeld's hands than Saddam Hussein could ever dream of, and that includes the Iran Iraq war. We have murdered so many in the name of peace that it scares me.
