Clip from documentary film by Jorge Prelorán about the traditional Saturday market in Simoca, a small town in Tucumán Province, Argentina. The sugar cane grown on many small farms around Simoca is prominent at the market. This film was shot in 1965.

Thanks for this video. There is another begginer in the argentinian traditions, here in my country, specially into the music: Leda Valladares, she worked in the '60's in the NOA (Argentinian North West) recording musicians in Jujuy, Tucumán, Salta. These films and Valladares Field Recordings are excellent examples about our traditions. Thanks again for share this.
