@Yamahanotother i didnt buy a jet kit. but i could have. i just bought a few different sized main jets and a couple different sized pilots and did my own testing. i dont believe in just slapping it in and going. it takes tuning to get it to run right,

@2002HondaTRX300EX you should rejet regardless. especially if you are gonna run an open airbox. any extra air will lean out the mixture meaning you should rejet.

@dmow9280 well if u have a 400 or bigger its better but if u have a sip on and filter i think it will be ok

that could also cause you to burn a hole in your piston if you ride too long with it running lean.

i have a 2007 400ex and i put a uni filter wth rs-3 exhoust full system and it runs like crap at low rpms should i go to a 155 with 42 pilit like u say i thought mine was funning rich not lean?

@jmaxw2121 did you ever jet it? whats your elevation? i'm at about 500ft above sea level. the higher the elevation the leaner you'll be. when you say it runs like crap what do you mean? describe the symptoms
