That's like 5 feet of snow... Even a 70-ton tank could get stuck in that..

Even the Finns(I live in Finnish Lapland now) think i am crazy when i talk about going off roading in the middle of winter, and how us Icelandic people tend to think "Snow everywyere = road everywhere" haha

@HalldorKG Islendere (Icelandics) are a given! ;)

AND Icelandics for whom almost all of our off roading takes place in winter and on glaciers.

@KatoKid85 yes and no. Adding some weight does help. But if your vehicle sinks in snow, your stuck. Same applies to climbing hills. Around here, the wind freezes up the sides of hills in winter. My Ranger can climb these no problem, but the larger vehicles (hummers, F-250's, etc) cannot do it with ease. As for sliding forever, you really shouldn't be sliding in the first place. I know from experience at a stoplight, my ranger can stop faster than a Ram 1500, I stopped at the line, he slid past.

@mmmmhonda Don't worry we get worse here. I never get how people find it so hard to drive in snow. Hell someone ditched a BMW Mini last time it snowed here, there was a slightly dusting which in no way affected my car which was on performance tyres.
the Canadians and Russians are laughing (no offence to anyone)
