Maybe god doesn't hear things because his creators, the believers, need a Q-tip.

  • I am so oppressed by my family. I love everything you just talked about in this vid. I just wish I could openly talk about it with my parents.

  • @Beckyshort why don't you ask them to watch my video with you, and see how they respond. Just say, this guy has some things to say that I've been thinking about. It might be a good conversation starter if they don't dismiss me out of hand.

  • Would you visit the Debate Faith room in Stickam? We discuss matters such as this.

  • @Rh1no1 thank you for the invitation, I don't care for Stickam and that kind of thing.

  • I live in the Bible belt (Oklahoma) and I was raised in the Baptist church. Any conversation I have with my parents usually involves "well, it's all part of God's plan!". I mean, I am not openly atheist around them. I've always tried to respect the religious beliefs of others even though I kind of feel a little sorry for them (it's like being friends with a smoker). But, you know how the religious are. It makes them feel like their life MEANS something. They're not going to change. :(

  • I hate to know that most holiday traditions are not Christian-based, but have, in fact, been stolen from early pagans in order to attract them to the Christian religion.

  • @MrShittyFag you're right about people being incoherent. That's what leads them to believe the religious fraud. There are other deceptions in the world, you are right about that, but none is followed so blindly without questioning as religion. That makes it the most dangerous, and the potential evolutionary flaw that kills off our species unless we cast it to the scrap heap of history. Hence, my focus.

  • @SconeMason There's a lot more deception in the world than religion, it's significant that you renounce religion but I showed you a place in your argument that yields even more truth. It wasn't clear to me that you already knew it. my bad. I know you are atheistic! You got your point across well.

The funny thing is i'm more coherent when I'm wasted than most people would ever hope to be while sober.

  • @variablast you demand the right to destroy semantics, while at the same time claiming they have no value. I think that is the basic contradiction I see in your thinking. Have you read Stephen Pinker?

  • @MrShittyFag I almost stumble onto it? Didn't you just get the idea from watching my video? How is that stumbling. Also, why do I keep harping on religion? I'm an anti-theist, it comes with the territory. There are many other channels if you don't like mine. Try watching when you're not stoned sometime.

  • Why do you keep harping on religion? You came so close to stumbling on something significant. "[Atheism is the last belief where prejudgment is socially acceptable]." Didn't you prejudge the religious at the beginning? You can discriminate for whatever reason you want, but don't claim victim status when it happens to you.The ability to judge what is good and bad is very important, but you never can if you don't judge anything for yourself. But you clearly have and rightfully found religion is bad.
